Founded in 1999 by Master Teacher Grace Dannon, PHD GOA English Academy began as a small tutoring center with a big vision: to make quality English education accessible to everyone.
What started with just 5 students has grown into an internationally recognized academy, helping thousands achieve language proficiency and confidence.

Grace Dannon
With over 25 years of dedicated teaching experience, Grace Dannon is more than just an English teacher—she's a language mentor, educational innovator, and passionate advocate for accessible education.
Grace holds advanced degrees in Business and Education, with certifications from CRUTECH University, European Open University and School of Business and Trade. Her teaching methodology combines traditional grammar mastery with modern communicative approaches, ensuring students not only learn English but live it.

The Child of Light
In a village blessed by the morning sun, lived a child named Lumi. Lumi's heart was pure, her thoughts were kind, and her actions always brought light to those around her.
Every morning, Lumi would wake with the sun and begin her day with three good deeds:
- Helping her mother prepare breakfast
- Watering the family garden
- Smiling at everyone she met
The Honest Path
One day, Lumi found a silver coin on the village path. Though she could have kept it, she asked every villager until she found the rightful owner - old Mr. Tanaka, who needed it for medicine.
